Welcome

In a caring and nurturing environment, the Temple Beth Tikvah Preschool creates a comfortable and happy place for children ages 18 months - 5 years to learn and grow. The uniqueness of our Jewish preschool program can be found in the quality of day-to-day interactions among children, staff and parents. Bridging the gap from home to school, we guide children toward a development of a positive self-image while building social skills and Jewish values.
Our daily schedules include hands-on exploration to further a child’s creativity, independence and problem-solving. Small and large group activities strengthen the preschooler’s social skills, self-esteem, self-control, and teamwork abilities. A balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities serves to reinforce, enrich and challenge the child in a setting in which his or her individuality is respected. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows us to meet the needs of the individual child. We encourage a love of learning by enabling children to experience their own stage of development and helping them feel success without pressure.
We are honored that you are considering Temple Beth Tikvah as part of your child’s Jewish preschool education. We look forward to seeing your child’s growth and development throughout the course of the year.

About Us

The Temple Beth Tikvah Preschool aims to provide an emotionally and physically safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning and the love of Judaism through play, collaboration, and community.
We believe that children are unique, competent, curious, inquisitive and creative. Through play-based and hands-on experiences, we encourage social, emotional and cognitive growth to meet the needs of every child. We are proud of our ability to blend Jewish and secular learning. Children express themselves as individuals as they come to learn and live a Jewish life. Holidays, customs, traditions, and values come to life as we learn, play and pray together. We model kindness, empathy, confidence, independence, respect and compassion. These values drive the school’s culture and community.
Our dedicated, nurturing and caring staff is committed to providing a positive learning experience for each child.  We pride ourselves in the relationships we build with the children, the families and community. Here, you are part of a family, nurtured in all aspects.
Safety is our number one priority.  Our staff is CPR/AED/First Aid and Epi-Pen trained.
The TBT Preschool is proud to be accredited by Advanc-ED and an ALEF Fund partner!  Through the ALEF fund, we are able to offer significant scholarships to our Pre-K and Madrigot students. For more information regarding the ALEF fund: www.aleffund.org
