Coleen Dieker is a Kansas City native and an alumna of Berklee College of Music. She collaborates nationally and internationally as a recording artist, performer, arranger, and composer. She began training as a classical musician at the age of 5, starting on piano and picking up the violin at 7. Her career as a freelance musician began at age 9 and continued through her teenage years as a wedding musician, piano accompanist, violin teacher, and busking fiddler. She attended Berklee College of Music on various talent scholarships, with a focus on piano performance. She served as the music director at B’nai Jehudah in Overland Park for a few years, where she met and worked with Rabbi Alex. Today she performs with local groups Ensemble Ibérica and Flannigan’s Right Hook. She also writes, records and tours with acclaimed Jewish singer/songwriter Rabbi Josh Warshawsky. Her other passions include snowboarding and skydiving.
