If you or any member of your household is ever in the hospital or sick at home and would like a pastoral call, please contact us at 770-642-0434 and a member of our clergy team will reach out to you as quickly as possible.

In light of COVID-19, our rabbi and cantor have been instructed to make pastoral calls via phone or Facetime, and not in person, until further advised.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us, we are here for you.

Parenting in a Pandemic - Support Group

Clinical Services now offers tips and strategies for parenting during this extremely challenging time of upheaval and change. This is a free virtual place where parents can gain support for a variety of issues such as:

  • scheduling as a tool for enhancing family functioning
  • teens and isolation
  • dealing with regulation and temper tantrums
  • sibling relationships
  • managing stress
  • parental self-care and emotional exhaustion
  • aspirational goals for family

Weekly Family Caregiver Support Group During COVID-19 Pandemic

Fridays starting April 17, 2020 at 1:00 PM

Format: Zoom

Caring, sharing, and encouragement, all essential elements of the human experience, may be found in this group for caregivers. This group will provide a safe space to share your thoughts and feelings and help you to develop a network of support through an exchange of information and experiences. The COVID-19 virus has presented new and difficult challenges for family caregivers. This group will provide support, resources, and a safe place to process and share experiences related to being a family caregiver during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This group will be facilitated by Jenny Gay, LCSW Lead Geriatric Care Manager from Aviv Older Adult Services at Jewish Family and Career Services of Atlanta.
