Social Action
The mission of the Social Action Committee is to provide Temple Beth Tikvah members with opportunities to carry out the mitzvah of tikkun olam, repair the world. The goal is to dedicate ourselves anew to our legacy of social justice through actions that will make the world a better place.
Temple Beth Tikvah congregants are committed to meeting the needs of the broader community through a variety activities, including:
- Food and clothing drives
- Habitat for Humanity
- Volunteering at homeless shelters
- Assisting the victims of natural disasters
Many of these activities are organized by our Social Action Committee or one of our many other organizations.
