Kehillat Chesed (Caring Committee)  

The Kehillat Chesed Committee is involved in a variety of outreach efforts to support congregants during good times and bad, including:

  • Preparing shiva meals and providing other assistance to families grieving the loss of a loved one
  • Visiting congregants who are ill or are in the hospital
  • Assisting with transportation to doctors appointments and other health-related sessions
  • Recognizing births, adoptions, marriages and other simchas

Helping Provide Housebound TBT Members with Meals

 

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

 

For example, you can:

 

  • Roast two chickens, one for your family and one to be packaged and frozen.
  • Make two briskets, one for your family and one to be packaged and frozen.
  • Bake two honey cakes or an extra recipe of Mandel Bread, one for your family and one to be packaged and frozen.
  • Ordering food, order extra to be packaged and frozen.

 

Please mark your frozen food packages with date, name of item and kosher/non-kosher, serving size, dairy or non-dairy.

 

THIS CAN BE THE 1ST MITZVAH OF YOUR NEW YEAR
